MY APPROACH
Care built in layers
I provide psychiatric care grounded in both psychopharmacology and psychodynamic thinking, which means we look beyond symptoms to understand what's driving them. I'm interested in your — or your child's — relationship to treatment: what feels right, what feels uncertain, and what's been tried before. My goal is to offer care that's thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely tailored to each person I work with, whether that's a young child, a teenager, or an adult.
HOW I WORK
Three things you can count on.
Integrative
I draw on medication management alongside evidence-based therapies — including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy. What we use depends on what you need, and it often evolves over time.
Collaborative
I work closely with you, your family when appropriate, and the other providers on your care team — your primary care provider and existing therapist. The more connected your care is, the more effective it tends to be.
Warm & grounded
My style is warm, grounded, and direct. I don’t think care has to feel stiff to be rigorous — I’d rather you feel comfortable and like yourself in our sessions. I’ll meet you where you are.
“A cairn points the way forward when the path gets hard to see. That's the care I try to offer.”
WHO I WORK WITH
From childhood to adulthood — and every hard stretch in between.
I see children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges — those moments when things feel stuck or out of control, chronic stress, difficult transitions, and burnout. Children and adolescents are at the heart of my practice; I’ve spent a decade alongside families, pediatric providers, and school communities, and I welcome family involvement as part of care.
